Open Call Exhibition: NATURA
Celebrating a Greener Future!
Dāku - London - Feb - Apr 2024
We are delighted to invite UK-based multimedia Artists to submit to our upcoming Group Art Exhibition NATURA - Celebrating a Greener Future!
NATURA, Latin for Nature, is the ultimate source of life that sustains all living and non-living things on this planet. We are all part of nature, and our existence is interdependent, creating a delicate balance that we must respect and cherish. Plants, animals, and humans alike rely on nature for their survival. It provides us with the necessary components like oxygen, sunlight, soil, water, and more, enabling us to thrive.
NATURA is the foundation of our economy, society, and very existence. Our forests, rivers, oceans, and soils are responsible for the food we eat, the air we breathe, and the water we use to irrigate our crops. Nurture nature as nature nurtures us, and together, we can create a sustainable future for generations to come.
"Nature is not a place to visit, it is home." –Gary Snyder
We invite Artists to explore the connections between nature's breathtaking beauty and humans’ dependency, abuse and destruction of it through time.
